Announcing the Call of Duty®: Mobile - Masters Competition


Call of Duty®: Mobile - Masters aims to highlight the best-of-the-best Call of Duty: Mobile esports teams in both North America and Europe, over multiple weeks of competition. 

 

Teams will compete against one another for a chance to win prizing and secure their spot in the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021 Presented by Sony. 

Format

 

Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters is a semi-invitational program where 16 teams in North America and 16 teams in Europe will compete in their respective regions in league-style play over the course of five weeks. 

Top teams will receive direct invites to the program with additional teams securing their spot through an open qualifier.

 

At the end of the five weeks, eight teams from each region will advance to their respective Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters Finals event with the winning team qualifying for this year’s World Championship.  

 

Teams that receive a direct invite to the program will be selected based on certain factors such as, but not limited to, placement at the 2020 Call of Duty: Mobile

 

 Championship Regional Finals, recent tournament results, and current player standings. A full list of invited teams will be revealed at a later date.

 

Teams will also have a chance to directly qualify for the program through the Call of Duty: Mobile -Masters Open Qualifiers held on May 29th-30th

 

Top teams from both the North American Open Qualifier and the European Open Qualifier will advance to the Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters program.  Details regarding the format and eligibility requirements for the Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters Open Qualifiers will be provided at a later date.

 

Broadcast

 

All of the action kicks off on June 14th and fans can watch the broadcast live either in-game, on Twitch or via the Call of Duty: Mobile Esports YouTube channel and other streaming platforms. Matches will take place each Monday from June 14th to July 12th

 

Date and further details pertaining to the Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters Finals broadcast will be revealed at a later date.

 

Prizing

 

The total prize pool of $100,000 will be split evenly between both regions with $50,000 available for North America and $50,000 available for Europe for teams who qualify for the Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters Finals. Exact prizing distribution and additional rewards for participation will be revealed at a later date.

 

 

Participation & Eligibility

For invitation consideration or other inquiries with regard to participation in Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters, teams can reach out to: codmobilemasters@activision.com.  Registration for the Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters Open Qualifier will be announced in the future.

   

In order to compete, players must be 18 years or older at the start of competition and meet all other eligibility requirements to be eligible.

 

Eligible countries for each region are as follows:

 

North America:

United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica

 

Europe:

Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom

   

Tournament rules and additional details regarding Call of Duty: Mobile - Masters and the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021 Presented by Sony will be announced at a later date and posted on https://www.callofduty.com/mobile/esports/masters.
